Hi JAndrew. To be honest I don’t know if Moen and Delta are interchangeable. However, this is what I was able to find: For many years Moen tub/shower valves have been manufactured using one of three valves. These valves are Standard, Posi-Temp and Moentrol. Although the look is similar, the trim is not necessarily interchangeable. ... If this is the way your Moen valve operates, any Posi-Temp trim will fit. I hope this helps. Best of luck!

The plate is 7" wide (diameter). The center hole is about 1 3/8" wide. (Not sure if this is allowed, but i bought chrome handle and brushed nickel. Installed the chrome handle. Can't use brushed nickel and cannot return to online seller. So it is available.)

I have no spots on the two units I installed. I believe it’s a good quality trim kit and we have pretty hard water here in south central Texas. I also tend to wipe the shower down and squeegee off the glass enclosure after use.

If the holes on your escutcheon plate are at 2 & 7, you can use any existing Moentrol trim. If your holes are at 5 & 7, you may have a standard valve that can be converted to use any new Moentrol trim with a round plate by using the conversion plate #145058.
