A:  The braces are chrome metal.

A:  No sure, installed mine on a wall near the shower. Shelf is pretty sturdy, but chrome finish on shelf mounts might not react to well to getting wet regularly. Comes with 1 inch screws and plastic anchors for drywall. Hope this is helpful.

A:  You can replace this glass with anything you want as long as the thickness is the same, and watched out the weight also. To bad you want to replace it, this unit look beautiful as is.

A:  Yes I think you would need a specific thickness, just buy a piece of corian with seperate brackets. I will tell you the glass is beautiful

A:  Yes but the corian would need to be the thickness of the glass It’s held by screws like a vice so it secures the glass or corian I’d personally would stick with glass creating different textures instead of everything matchey Matchey. It’s just personal preference I used mine in bathroom and I really liked it Good luck to you

A:  I for one believe so, since you the glass does not come affixed to the fasteners. I guess it shouldn't be a problem if the weight and thickness of the Corian are similar to that of the glass - Good Luck with you project!

W Glass Bath Shelf in Chrome has not been designed or tested for use with an alternative shelf in a different material. The tempered glass insert is not interchangeable with Corian or Granite composite shelves. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636.

A:  I don't believe this is possible because the glass bracket is very thin and could not accommodate the thickness of the Dorian unless it is very thin.
