Great air cleaner
This is a great air cleaner. It is well built, it feels heavy, made of good solid plastic, and the individual components fit well together. There is an interesting leather loop on the side which makes this air cleaner look much different than a standard boring electronic device that would sit on your counter. It is a little large, but it does its job really well and so the size is ok. I would say it cleans the air really well, the smell of the air is clean, but not too strong as to think that the cleaner is overpowering for the room.
Adding additional Home Air Purification
Tthe Molekule Mini Air Filter a valuable asset to any home. it is both functional and decorative. The fan has 5 speeds, and,it is suggested to run the fan at medium of higher. The air filter can purifier the air in a room several times per hour depending on fan speed and room size. Even using the best filters in my furnace system, I thought addition purification of the air in our house was a necessity to help capture and kill bacteria, viruses and mold.

Nice unit
I’ve only been using this purifier for 7 days and I’m not really sure if there’s any way to tell the difference between using a purifier and not using a purifier; though I’m assuming it’s improving the air quality in the general vicinity. I set it up on the corner of my desk behind my large monitor since I spend most of my days working from home and my “office” is at one end of my family room. Then my “commute” home is about 6-8 feet to my lounge chair. (Tough, I know!) I’ve decided that instead of running the unit 24/7 I will only run it during my hours awake, hoping to extend the life of the filter a bit.

Amazing purification capabilities according to the specs.
I have chronic allergies plus now taking cancer treatments so I am very concerned about indoor air quality. I wake up stuffy every morning with a cough so I installed the Air Mini in my bedroom. After a few days of operation it has helped my allergies but only time will tell if it will help me from catching a virus or get a bacterial infection. My bedroom is smaller than the 250 sq. ft. maximum so I've been running the unit on the second speed even though the instructions indicate for medical purposes (not sure what that is exactly) recommend a speed of three. The app would not pair with the unit until I changed the app's permissions as recommended by the support folks at Molekule. This bug could be due to my phone and/or network and may be resolved by the time you read this review. The functionality of the app is limited and you can only change the fan speed or check the filter status. There are a few other options but it just doesn't seem like a good reason for having an app vs. a few extra button/LEDS on the unit itself. Filters are recommended to be replaced every six months and are somewhat pricey considering such a small unit.

Nice Looking Air Purifier - Needs Work
So I was impressed when unboxing the air purifier. Top quality packaging, mostly curbside recyclable. The air purifier itself is an attractive design that doesn't look out of place in a room on a table like they suggest. It was easy to assemble. When I plugged it in to set it up my troubles began. First, there's only one button, it control the speed. When I turned it on it smelled funny, and it smelled funny for a while, not something you expect or want from an air purifier. It has a companion app that allows you to control the unit via smartphone. It seems everything wants to live on your wifi. The unit did not connect to wifi so no remote control for me. I reached out for technical support but the response was lacking. I need to schedule a phone call apparently. Otherwise the unit is fairly quiet on the two lowest settings, but ridiculously loud on the medium and higher settings. I ran it for a couple of days and it seems to work as well as my other HEPA filter does. But my other purifier is less expensive and quieter, but it isn't as good looking. So noisey, smelly, doesn't connect to wifi, but looks cool, I can't recommend.

Looks nice, works well
This is great for small rooms. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it seems to work well. I don't have a device to measure air quality, but the room definitely has a fresher smell when this is been running for a few days. It was very well packaged, super easy to set up, and the cord is long which helps with placement There are 5 speed settings, but really only the first 3 are usable when in the room, and the 3rd is a little loud but tolerable. 4 is very loud and you'd have a hard time hearing a TV over it, and 5 is so loud you wouldn't be able to have a conversation without shouting. The app seems intrusive. The only functionality it offers is the ability to change the speeds. Which can be done via a button on top of the unit. Otherwise is keeps trying to get you to sign up for a filter subscription. Many, many times. There's a lot of wasted opportunity for a wifi connected device (setting schedules, showing air quality, run time. etc). Overall I do like it, but I just wish it were quieter and had better app functionality

Breath of freash air!
We got this when we had a water leak and some musty smell after we cleaned up the water and damage from it. We had a musty smell that was not going away after a couple days. We placed this in the bathroom and within a short period of time the smell was dissipating. After a couple hours of running the filter the smell completely went away. We were concerned that the smell might come back when we stopped using the air filter, but after several days of not using the filter the smell has not returned. We now use the filter in our living room every couple of days just to help clean the air around us. It would be really easy to bring this compact filter with us to any hotel we stay at to make sure the room is clean as well. The filter is really easy to change. You have to remove the plastic bag around the inside cartridge when you first get the filter. Make sure the small hole on the cartridge filter is placed down before you replace the top. The wifi works great with it, but we usually just use the buttons on the top of the unit. If you just want cleaner air or have an issue this little filter does a great job!

Nice design
The Molekule Air Mini 250 sq. ft. Air Purifier with PECO filter is a perfect size for my guest bedroom. It fit nicely on the side of the desk and the cord is long. The directions were easy to follow. Installing the filter was quick. The control button is on the top of the unit. When you press it there are small green dots that light up. You press to reach the desired fan speed. It was very quiet. I was able to sleep all night with the unit turned on. There is no light on the unit to keep you awake. In the morning the room smelled clean and fresh. I had no problems breathing or sometimes sneezing like I often do. What a relief. I really like this unit and highly recommend it.

A lot of promise, but high price and some issues
The Molekule Air Mini promises quiet a lot, and the marketing material shipped with the box really makes it seem like a cutting-edge product, way ahead of the competition. But I did have some concerns about it. Let me go over them one by one: (1) The design is ultra-sleek, sort of like an iPhone of air purifiers, but the simplicity makes it a bit hard to control. There's just one button that's supposed to do everything. (2) The handle seems like a bit of a gimmick, like a design element to make it stand out. I'm not going to carry it around that way! (3) The manual says it should be run at a minimum of level 3 out of 5 for medical purposes, but level 3 is quite loud, much louder than I'd want in my bedroom. Level 2 was the limit of what I could accept with the purifier near me. (4) I could not get the device to connect to the smartphone app. The WiFi wasn't being recognized, despite my phone "seeing" the Molekule's WiFi broadcast. This should be entirely seamless, and it wasn't. And to be clear, I have a lot of smart home devices, including a competing WiFi-connected air purifier, in my home. This is the first time I've had this problem. (5) The standout feature is the UV light used to kill viruses, and while it seems like it should really put this above other purifiers, it's impossible for me to test myself. Given the high price, I just have to hope that it is indeed better, because it surely costs more than the competition.

Works Great
I have only had this little machine in my office for a couple of days now and it has seemed to help my sneezing. The unit is relatively small and doesn't take up much room, enough so that I sat it on top of my printer. It appears to be made fairly sold and is almost indubitable when on the lower settings. It can be operated with a app on your phone and has a convenient feature to help you remember to change the filter. Connecting the filter up to my WiFi was also painless and setup only took about 10 minutes.
