Product Details

The tight curved corners of the MR Direct 405 stainless steel sink provide the maximum amount of usable sink space in a wide, single-basin format. Its apron, or farmhouse, design takes on the form of yesterday's sinks, but its bold front flaunts the shimmering stainless steel construction of today. It is formed from a single piece of premium, 304-grade, cold rolled steel, using a die and pressure to extrude its unique shape. At a full 16-Gauge thickness, 25% thicker than the 18-Gauge steel which is the industry standard, it will more than adequately resist accidental dents, or any vibrations from disposal use. The visible steel surface is given a brushed-satin finish which adds to its luster and masks minor scratches which could occur over time. Dense, sound-dampening pads and an insulation coating are applied to its underside. Where other sinks are dropped into a hole in the countertop, the apron sink fits into an opening in the front of the cabinet, typically supported by wood side mounts. Overall, it measures 32 3/4 in. x 20 in. x 10 in. and is cUPC certified. This listing does not include any strainers.

A:  Good Afternoon Mark, Thank you for your inquiry with MR Direct. The overall dimensions for this sink are 23 3/4" W x 20" L. So yes I do believe this would be a good fit.     A:  Good afternoon, thank you for inquiring about MR Direct and our Farmhouse Apron sink! The sides of this sink are finished. I do not know what you mean by "lip." There is an over hang in the front totaling in 10 inches. For apron sinks, we recommend a custom cabinet for proper installation. I would check with a fabricator or a licensed installer to ensure this sink will fit your existing counter top.               The sink is beautiful. There are many options on how to install, I looked at few different installs online and opted to position the sink with the bottom front plate about 1 1/4 inch out from the cabinet so that the countertop would wrap around it nicely and a flush mount down into the sink. Think about your options with how the countertop will look before cementing this very sturdy sink in place. I used the 2x4 studs to support the weight.
