Q:I’m pretty sure that I’m going with this system. I just have a few questions. What’s the lowest outdoor temp this system will heat? Which gen is this? Is it better to purchase a system designed to heat/cool an area larger than your actual sq.ft. ?

Careful with the drain lines but everything else worked out as planned. Just received my electric bill of less than half of what i was paying prior to installation. Love it!

Fun install
Great units, it was fun installing with the help of my wife. with these types of units you will have to at least have 2 out of 4 of the indoor units running at the same time. Best ac I have ever had so much money saving for power usage compared to my old one. I now have two Mr cool systems in my house, both 3 tons . When I run both of them at the same time it's still cheaper then my old ac unit.

Hope you don't need to use the warranty
Pray you don't have a failure. My condenser failed and I had to pay to diagnose the problem, $310 to get a new one shipped, plus several hundred more to get new refrigerant added. All in, I'm out $1000 for a failure that occurred under warranty. But that's all they cover.
Also, incoming power terminations still not practical - for my unit, #8 wire is recommended but there's no way you can land a #8 wire on the provided terminals. Other features are as advertised and installation not too bad.
