Our 5th-Gen DIY® kit includes the outdoor condenser, indoor wall unit with mounting plate and wall sleeve, a 25ft pre-vacuumed/pre-charged Quick Connect® line set, drain hose, communication/power cable, remote, and basic hardware. You’ll still need field-supplied electrical (dedicated 230V circuit, breaker, outdoor disconnect/whip, conduit/wire), a pad or wall bracket, sealant/anchors, an optional line-set cover, and a condensate pump only if gravity drain isn’t possible. WHAT IS THE STARTUP AMPERAGE PULLED AND RUNNING AMPERAGE
Good morning, Matt. Our 5th-Gen DIY® 12K (115V) has an Inverter condenser, so it will not have a large startup surge. The starting and running amperage will be very consistent. You can expect roughly 8–9 amps at a typical cooling load, with a maximum branch-circuit breaker of 20A (115V).
