The DIY® 5th Gen 36K BTU Ductless Mini-Split and 3 air handlers (9K, 9K, and 18K) can cool or heat up to a total of 1,500 square feet, but the amounts each air handler can cool or heat is different. The 9K air handlers can cool or heat spaces up to 400 square feet each, while the 18K air handler can handle spaces up to 800 square feet. Manufacture Warranty is 5 years. Does the warranty require professional installation, or is it valid for homeowner permit / DIY installations?
