The MRCOOL GeoCool 4 Ton Geothermal Split System features an all DC inverter system with a high precision electronic expansion valve, offering precise temperature control that surpasses conventional systems. The open or closed loop water-to-air system boasts an EER of up to 70. If your home features a nearby water source such as a lake, well, or pond, you're able to accommodate an open-loop system that offers the highest installation and maintenance savings. If no body of water is available, a closed-loop system can be installed that utilizes propylene glycol through the underground tubes to circulate air in and out of your home without using as much energy as standard heating and cooling systems. Its co-axial copper-nickel heat exchanger enhances corrosion resistance and unit reliability, making it suitable for applications that involve lower water quality and salt solutions. You won't experience any interruptions to your daily life with a cooling noise as low as 58dBA and heating noise at a minimum of 60dBA. The Return Air Box module defaults to a right-hand return, but also offers the flexibility of a dual-sided design, allowing the utilization of a left-hand return if desired. Maintenance is simple as well thanks to easy filter access. The system is backed by a 5-year labor warranty and a 10-year parts warranty.
