The MSHDK3660 for MRCOOL Signature series MAHM helps to convert your up flow unit into a downflow unit. A downflow kit is designed to take an up flow unit and modify it for a downflow use. MSHDK1830 is compatible with MRCOOL MAHM036CTA, MAHM042CTA, MAHM048CTA, MAHM060CTA, MAHM036ETA, MAHM042ETA, MAHM048ETA, and MAHM060ETA.
- Kit is used to modify air handler units for use in downflow applications
- Procedure requires that the installer remove the evaporator coil and reinstall it for downflow air discharge application
- MSHDK3660 is recommended to be used only with MRCOOL MAHM036CTA, MAHM042CTA, MAHM048CTA, MAHM060CTA, MAHM036ETA, MAHM042ETA, MAHM048ETA and MAHM060ETA
- All MRCOOL MAHM models should be set to high speed in the down flow configuration
