MSI Amantus 8 in. x 8 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile features a matte finish with a smooth surface, contemporary look and elegant white tones. The tile is suitable for indoor floors or walls in such areas as the kitchen, hallways or terraces and provides moderate slip resistance. This small 8 in. size offers plenty of coverage for large or small areas. Coordinate with other field tile and trim pieces for the finished look you want in your space.
- 5.33 sq. ft., 12 pieces per case; case weight is 34.8 lbs.
- Grade 1, porcelain tile for floor, wall and countertop use
- 8 in. width x 8 in. length x 2/5 in. thick
- Glazed smooth finish with a low sheen and slight variation in tone
- P.E.I. Rating III is suitable for medium-duty residential and commercial floors including kitchens, halls, terraces and areas used more often with normal footwear and small amounts of dirt
- Impervious tile has water absorption of less than 0.5% for indoor use and is frost proof
- C.O.F. greater than 0.50 is recommended for standard commercial and residential applications
- Completely frost resistant for indoor or outdoor applications; use a latex-modified thinset for acceptable bond strength

AnswersHad the same issue, and discovered something very odd - the online price fluctuates with the time of day. During store hours, online price was approx $3/sf. When store closed, $4/sf. Next morning, when store open, $3/sf again. Very odd.

beautiful but thick
I love this tile but it is super thick, so it has to cover an entire surface vs being an accent on a wall with other normal size tile. Because of this we made it a feature wall in our shower and used grey tiles on the wall and a stone pebble floor to tone it down. Otherwise it would have been too busy. I love how it turned out. All our hardware will be chrome.

Beautiful!
I have a very small bathroom that is tiled with the ugly 4x4 tiles floor to ceiling, the previous owner glazed them white so the bathroom became a blank slate. Initially the white mosaic tile floor was going to remain BUT then I say what a bad grout job the previous owner did and there was built up mortar and it was just YUK! So I chose this tile and what a difference, it is like a brand new bathroom. I cannot stop admiring my new floor.

terribly made - when you put the tiles adjacent to each other, the lines on the artwork don't line up!
Unless you want your floor to look wonky, make sure the curves and drawings line up with adjacent tile. See image - tile edges are perfectly lined up but the image on the tile don't line up with adjacent tile.
I first dry fitted the tiles to see if any could be salvageable and line up with one another but they really don't. Going to return what I didn't use and throw the rest away.

Beautiful results for my powder room.
This was my first time tiling a bathroom floor. The tiles were thicker than I expected, but were no problem for the room where I installed them. I used 1/8" spacers and dove gray grout. I was able to color match the blue and dark gray for wall color and baseboards to match it perfectly. I would buy these tiles again in a heartbeat. I rented a wet tile saw to cut the tiles.

This tile was great although a hand tile cutter won't work for this tile because it is 1/2 inch thick but I know own a wet saw and have future needs for it. I also bought it at home depot.
