It's made of natural stone. So, yes. However, any stone installation needs an appropriately prepared substrate. You couldn't install directly to a typical wood sheathing. You'd need to install CBU (concrete board unit) with coated CBU screws, and then use a polymer modified thinset (highly recommend Ardex x77, for vertical adhesion qualities during installation, i.e. stone won't sag) to bond the stone to the substrate. Your wall should also be property prepared (Tyvek or better wrap), as the stone + mortar won't be waterproof. If you have a concrete wall as your base, then you'd go a different direction. I'd probably use a concrete glue and mortar scratch coat as your base, and then apply the stone using thinset directly to your scratch coat (assumes wall is flat, clean, raw concrete - not painted). There are other ways to prep concrete, such as acid wash and grinding, depending on the condition. Bottom line: Natural stone installations are only as good as the condition of your substrate. With a good substrate, they'll almost last forever. One more note: This particular MSI stack stone is extremely thin, the panels are not well formed, and being slate-based, are brittle. I could handle the imperfections (e.g. resulting in larger gaps between panels, etc.) for and outdoor wall, but for my fireplace surround, it was a bit of a nightmare. Also, add some dark (maybe slate colored) concrete dye to your mortar, as "gray mortar" looks white when it squeezes out in cracks between the panels and the stone. You want that mortar to fade into the background, i.e. DARK, dark gray or black. Also, the thin product makes cuts (e.g. corners, edges) difficult. Be prepared to set individual pieces, because they will break apart during cutting. Also expect up to 25% (non-refundable) breakage upon arrival, which you'll have to use for your edges and corners. You'll need a high quality tile saw (i.e. MK or equivalent, sliding table, etc.). At the price point, this is good material for a siding project. I'd buy it for that. Just know what you're getting yourself into.
