This mosaic design is elegant and has a vintage look that works in most decors. In choosing what color grout to use, I decided on something in a white range (black or grey look good but would have made it a bit too busy for my small space). Even the contractor commented that this was one of the best looking he’s installed. I paired it with wall tiles that look like small versions of subway tiles, and used a soft grey grout that picks up the light grey in the mosaic tiles on the floor.

I bought this marble tile to put the finishing touches on my shower. Installed it on the shower pan floor and in the niches on the walls. It's beautiful and gives a high end look to my new bathroom. My contractor said it was easy to install, cut and work with. He sealed it before and after grouting. I absolutely love it and would buy it again. I ordered 10 more sheets than I needed because it's marble and marble always has color variations, etc. I would definitely recommend this tile.

          Awesome
We used 6 sheets of this tile (12 x 12 mesh mounted) above our stove surrounded with greecian white marble pencil and greecian white marble 6 x 6 tiles. It looks amazing and we love it. Grout is bright white unsanded.

Gorgeous Floor! Takes LOTS of Grout!
Floor is simply beautiful. The tile is quite thick and there are a lot of places for grout - so be prepared because it takes a LOT! Worth it though....it's beautiful!

Ordered 2x more than I needed just in case of chips and color variation as these are marble. Returned almost 1/2 of them due to this. But the ones I kept are beautiful. Can't wait to put in in my shower.

Love it, BUT... All in all my project came out looking pretty nice and gives the vintage look I wanted , but 2 concerns. 1) The first is Quality Control leaves something to be desired, so I am deducting 1 star for that. a) the white tiles may not be perfectly centered. It seems that when this is true, the shape is not 100% symetrical. Like it got cut in a crooked position. b) Black ones may also be out of line, and can pop off easily. Sometimes there is not enough glue. You either have to tape them back in place ahead of time, or install separately at a later date. A few came loose during the installation, so I did these separately. c) sometimes there is too much glue on the mesh. At the very least this can cause buildup of thinset (and a small bump). Not sure how it might affect adhesion, because the thinset may not touch the tile directly. d) individual white tiles may be different thicknesses. Fortunately i found the worst offenders ahead of time and replaced those with a spare (taped it in) Be prepared to get some clinkers in the colors. My local HD stocks these so I went through many dozens to find enough I like. (I preferred those without any brownish markings) 2) Installing was a challenge for a newbie DIYer like me - I had no idea these are so very labor intensive! They need to be sealed before grouting. 2 coats is better. The internal spacing is not a standard US size, maybe its metric - but it is more than 1/8", and less than 3/16, maybe its 5/32 (if there were such a spacer). Between this and the variations in the way each piece is layed out on the mesh, getting them perfectly aligned is a challenge. I used the 1/8 Tavys and made sure there was a little wiggle room. Use some kind of ledger board as a starting point. I did a dry fit and then cemeneted in 1 row at a time to keep some kind of coherence. Not very efficient, but I felt it maintained a point of reference. The mesh can contract, so individual tiles can end up closer together if you're sliding them around and don't remember to stretch them out. Pay extra special attention to lipage. I use a 12x12 float (solid marble tile) to press each one down evenly and then a 3x16 wood float to make sure it was in line with its neighbors. Thought I had it perfect , but under extremely close scrutiny there are plenty of little inconsistencies. Most are inconsequential and disappear in the "forest" The only place i had an issue is aound the toilet, which has an elongated foot print. It probably touches over 30 individual tiles, so any one of them out of whack can mean the toilet will have to be shimmed. Use BRIGHT WHITE grout. I first tested a light grey and it was DISMAL. Then I went with Mapei Flexcolor CQ Avalanche (premix, epoxy-like). It is sanded , which called for on a floor with this size grout line. So you should get a softer type float, because there will be some scuffing ( they call this "honed", but the surface is very polished and shiney. And it uses plenty of grout ( i figure its about 6X a regular 12 x 12 tile). buffing out all that grout requires a lot of attention to detail wherever there's any micro-lipages, which tend to happen most around the black ones, especially on the corners If you do this yourself, consider it a labor of love. If you hire a contractor, don't be surprised if he charges more.

So I would have given this 5 stars.... it is absolutely gorgeous! ....but just want to mention that if you order on-line, order twice what you need so you can pick out the tiles you like. I bought mine in the store and I went through three boxes in order to get the equivalent of one box of tiles that I liked. There is a lot of variation in each (12 x 12) square - that is, variation amongst the little tiles themselves. But I also found to each of these squares themselves (i.e. some are more (overall) grey - i.e. not just individual tiles, but the 'overall look' of one 12 x 12 square can be more 'grey looking' while others have an 'overall look' that is more white. I wanted 'more white', so I had to go through lot of boxes to get the consistency I wanted. Also, in between, there were some tiles (i.e. 12 x 12 squares) that were on the YELLOW side which I definitely did not want. I would recommend buying these tiles in the store so you can pick out what you like.... but again, if you want to order on-line, I would suggest you order a lot of extra (that is, if you're picky like me(!) and then just return what you don't use. I LOVE the tiles I bought, but it took some work to pick the tiles I liked :)

LOVE this tile! I used it in a reno of my 1950's tile bathroom floor. Looks great - love that the marble is not stark white or black which looks most natural and shows less wear. Looks very authentic - I think it worth the extra $

If it seems too good to be true...There were a lot of variations in the color. We decided to use anyway since it's in a tiny powder room but you wouldn't want a large area of it. Very disappointed because the store sample looked perfect.

                  Proceed with Caution
                  1) I recommend installing this on the diagonal. Makes a huge difference & the impact to the overage is minimal. 2) make sure the the sub floor is level. 3) have it installed by someone who's used to mosaic tile & experienced in natural tile. 4) I recommend sealing the tile before grouting.

                    Beautiful tile for the money
We installed this tile in our guest bathroom and it really elevates the look to a whole new level. Classic, yet modern at the same time. The tile itself is a bit more grey than the picture shows, with that characteristic variance in shades from white to grey that is so typical of marble. It really is beautiful and people are quite surprised by how little we paid for this flooring.

                    Nice looking product
I installed this tile in my laundry room. It was my first time tiling, so I learned a lot! The end product looks really good--a classic and cheerful look. I went back and forth trying to decide between sanded and nonsanded grout. I ended up using sanded with latex additive due to the 1/8" gaps between the tiles and because I was worried about strength (it's a high vibration area due to our enthusiastic front-loading washing machine). I didn't notice any problems with the sanded grout scratching the finish (it's a honed rather than highly polished finish). This tile was also easy to cut using a wet saw, which I had never used before. Two things to note about appearance--this stone is on the soft side, so you may notice some "natural" looking edges on the tiles. Also, some of the tiles have shades of yellow and blue. I really like this look, but be prepared for the color not to be totally uniform.
