Can this be used to pull poles on a gate closer?

Asked by: MJ
The hooks would have no way to attach to the poles. Using it to do this you might bend the poles IF the are cemented in.

Can this be used to stretch a attic door spring so it can be fastened to the ladder ?
Asked by: justme
Sounds tricky. This can pull but the hooks are big and need good anchor points. Maybe you could have someone do it in attic with the door in the closed position with much less tension on the spring.
