Q:I live in an older house. One room has a tile floor installed without proper measuring for the register. Could a flush grille, without an air damper work? Could I use this style without using grout?

Beautiful register in any flooring
We got this register for our bathroom remodel despite the face that it isn't specifically made for our tile.
It matches our charcoal grout on the floor, looks and feels very high end.
The register is not grouted in, so when stuff falls down there, we can just lift out the register and put it back.
These registers would look great in wood floors as well.
We ordered an extra one just in case something were to happen with the other one but it is very sturdy

Perfect match to our brazil black slate. Be aware, it is smaller than the measurements listed online so don't base your layout on those measurements. You'll want this on hand when you layout and cut the surrounding tile. It was exactly what we needed so, other than the bad size information provided on the HD website, no complaints.
