Rare Earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These disc magnets are 1/16 in. diameter and 1/32 in. Thick. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of grade forty neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Maximum working temperature is one hundred seventy 6° Fahrenheit. Magnets may chip and crack if allowed to snap together. WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. This is NOT a toy. Secure magnets when unattended. Ingestion and inhalation hazard. Ingestion or inhalation may cause injury or death. Seek immediate medical attention if magnets are swallowed or inhaled. Somehow I had the impression that there would be 250 magnets, but I may have misread the original catalog listing or conflated it with something from another vendor. The product arrived at the store in good condition, but the shipping box around it was torn open before I picked it up at the store.

Our kid uses them for his hobby to attach his plastic game figures. The magnets, while strong, barely hold the figures because of super small size.
