Display is too dark
I can’t see the display at all. I could use that flashlight or maybe they’ll send me an over with white font

It was great until it set itself on fire
I bought this microwave for just over 1 year ago. I never had any major issues with it, though it is obviously of lower quality, which I expected based on the price. That is, until last night. The metal plating on the interior right side of the microwave burst into flames. The metal plating is now the texture of crumpled aluminum foil (see photo). I don't exactly know what the purpose of this metal plate, but I'm assuming it's not safe to use anymore. I'll be replacing it with something better.

Lasted about a year. Paint didn't hold up.
I had this microwave about 1 year and noticed the paint inside started bubbling and and peeling, then rusting near the holes on top. I guess I need to wipe down the moisture more often, but still I have never had this problem with any other microwave I owned. Very disappointing; not going to buy magic chef anymore.

High hopes
I have only had it for one day so far seems to be doing its job so far. I have never bought this brand before my only con so far is the pegs on the bottom are made of plastic so it slides around a little on the counter top. The pegs should of been made of rubber but its a small fix just set some rubber coasters or mat under the plastic pegs.

Bought this microwave to go in our new bar area...
Bought this microwave to go in our new bar area above a 10.1cu fridge. We had custom cabinets made & it fits perfectly in the space we planned for it. The space is 13” x 22” & it fits great! Nice features like popcorn that work nice.

Do Not buy this microwave!
I had a wonderful microwave over 10 years old and just last year it started to rust so sadly I got rid of it and bought what I thought was a cute perfect size microwave for my kitchen and after only a few months I noticed it's starting to rust on the very top of it. I keep my microwave very clean and even use a microwave safe cover for inside and it still rust on the top. Now the plastic at the bottom of the door is starting to come apart. I've had this microwave less than a year and it's falling apart this is really sad!
