2.7 cu. ft. All-in-One Washer and Dryer Combo in Silver

Buyer beware I bought this washer dryer combo April 13th delivered the 16th for one of my airbnbs. Went through 1 cycle and dumped the water out from the hose damaged the downstairs ceiling. Got in touch with the manufacturer immediately because the extended home warranty only kicks in after 1 year. They want to send a tech out ri fix it first NFW am I going to risk another break and more damage!! I could understand maybe after 6 mos Or even a year. Lesson learned I'll KEEP UPDATING THIS review

Just recently bought this product and so far works GREAT! Since it’s not a commercial machine it takes longer to was and dry but very convenient. Laundry smells good! Just make sure you have a professional plumber do the installation. Might need to pay more but worth it!

This unit is a beast! Does such a good job washing and drying. love that I can throw my clothes in and not worry about it til there're dry. I typically do the quick wash/dry, which takes about 2 hours

This machine was a perfect fit for the limited space that I have. I think when considering a washer/dryer combo unit, one needs to manage their expectations. If you are looking to get a combo machine and expecting it to perform like 2 separate machines, you will be disappointed. If you understand that the combo unit will require small loads and take long to dry and can accept that, you will be pleased. I was well aware of the performance limitations and am very pleased to say that the machine met my expectations. I've had the machine for about a month and there are a number of features that I really like about the unit. These include: compact unit, effective cleaning, multiple wash/dry cycle options, multiple temperature and spin cycle options, delayed operation and very quiet washing cycle. The dry cycle tends to be a bit noisy as there is a pump that cycles on and off every 10 seconds or so which takes a bit of getting used to. However, if the sound bothers you, you can get around by setting the machine to wash/dry a load in the middle of the night while you are sleeping and you won't notice anything. Like anything else, you will figure out how to make the unit work best for you. I have figured out that loads that you don't want to send through the dry cycle, just wash during the day and hang to dry. Loads that you want to wash and dry, do them while you sleep and set the timer so that the load is done right when you wake up.

At first I was very happy to discover the Magic Chef 2.7 Combo Washer/Dryer. I live in a small condo, originally not built for a washer and dryer and so I had a custom cabinet made under the kitchen counter when I installed my previous unit. Big mistake because when it came time to replace, my old combo was no longer available and finding a suitable alternative was a real challenge. Either they were too tall, too wide, or the depth was too deep. However, the Magic Chef's dimensions fit like a glove. Even better, it had a larger capacity than my old combo washer/dryer and ran on a standard 120V plug. It is attractive, very reasonably priced, pretty quiet even while spinning, and does a nice job of cleaning clothes. However, I was very disappointed to find out that not all of the cycles allow for a "wash only" option or if it does, I have not figured out how to do so. As anyone who has a ventless dryer knows, drying can take forever and only works marginally well if the load is very small and/or light. So the "Quick Wash" option runs for a full 2 hours and 13 minutes, even thought the actual washing time is only 20 minutes. You are forced to include the cycle's dry time as well. The Magic Chef is the only combo washer/dryer that I have heard of that has this limitation and it was a real bummer. Perhaps this won't be a problem for you but it is a deal breaker for me. I already unpacked and installed it so I am not going to return it but I sure wish that this had been included in any of the advertised info/description. Even the Magic Chef service support team member that I spoke with did not know about it and he was as dumbfounded as I was. "Caveat emptor." If you are unsure of what the Magic Chef 2.7 Combo Washer/Dryer can or can't do, do not rely on Home Depot for the answer. Call the Magic Chef customer hotline at (888) 775-0202. Wish I had done so first. :-(

I love it

I would recommend this to any one who has a small family this is a lifesaver it so Quiet it doesn’t make any sound it shakes a little when is on has been high speed but you don’t even know it’s on clothes come out extremely exceptional with cold water! you might have to put the dryer on twice but it’s worth it nice and fresh does everything that wash machine does in a laundry mat Love how it really looks too it was bigger than what I suspected I can get a Queen comforter put it on dry twice come out beautiful. The only time my cat know it was on is when the buttons was hitting up against the glass and even still he couldn’t understand what was going on that’s how quiet it is lol god bless stay safe thank you

I purchased this washer/dryer to use in my RV. JUST fit through doors and into designated closet. Step by step instructions. Has all required hoses packed inside unit. Does a fairly large load for the size of unit. The wash/dry combined cycle works great for lightweight items. Has a lot of washing/drying options to customize your cycle.

Put this in our 09 Montana Big Sky was a perfect fit and so much cheaper than the RV models has lot of cycles to choose from, it take a little longer to dry than I would like but over all I love it, you can barely hear it running it does shake the RV some when it spins out
