Gas Leak
I bought and received this Magic Chef cooktop via Home Depot in January. I did not use the cooktop until June due to an upgrade on the gas pipes in my apartment building. When I turned the cooktop on, I smelled gas odor. The property management licensed plumber came and investigated the gas odor, and determined that the gas leaked from the cooktop. The licensed plumber recommended a full replacement due to this defective cooktop. I contacted Magic Chef Appliance and they refused to replace the cooktop and asked its contractor Dial Appliance to deal with me. Because of this defective Magic Chef cooktop and poor customer services, I do not recommend the Magic Chef brand.

Very easy to assemble, I changed it from natural gas to propane very simple instructions, it work...
