A: Sure, provided there's space for air to circulate. The manual states: 1) "This appliance is resigned to be free standing only, and should not be recessed or built-in", and 2) "Allow 5 inches of space between the back and sides of the refrigerator, which allows the proper air ventilation." So, if your plan is to build the refrigerator in under a counter with its sides flush with cabinets or a wall, then no. If there is space on the sides and a counter above, then it ought to work just fine.

A: Yes, no problem. you just need to allow clearance on the back and sides for airflow over the cooling coils which get warm.
