My freezer fan (which also cools the refrigerator) stopped working. I found this web site and did exactly what is outlined here. Don't remember where I ordered the part but you can search online for it. As I remember I paid about $50 and my Magic Chef is working flawlessly. The instructions on how to replace are on this website. http://www.wickedtinyhouse.com/single-post/2018/05/09/The-Saga-of-the-Broken-Magic-Chef
I bought two fridges last year for my rental properties last year or so. I don’t have a need to change bulbs yet but replacement fridge light bulbs are widely available.
Just google the model and the symptom, sometimes YouTube too. Sorry, mine has not that I know of had any issues
This unit is 1.4 amps.
My fridge came with the door opening from the right but it had an extra hinge in the shipping package so I assume it would allow me to change sides for opening the door. Sorry I can't help too much.
If Home Depot can’t assist you I would contact the manufacturer or go to their web page and try to get a part list or the part itself.
I pick it up myself. The refrigerator has a big dent in it.. it was all packed up and did not see it before I brought it home.. not good. .
I had a serious problem with the same refrigerator, and Home Depot put me in touch with a technical expert at Magic Chef. Knowing that I was mechanically inclined from our conversation he guided me through some troubleshooting steps. It was determined that the problem was most likely a faulty fan motor in the freezer compartment. I ordered the part and installed it myself. The refrigerator has worked perfectly ever since. A key consideration is to keep the temperature low enough to keep things frozen, but not so low as to allow excessive amounts of frost to build up. When the fan and motor become encased in ice the motor will burn out.
