Can the impact driver be used to drill concrete?
Thank you for your email on the CT225SYX kit. While a masonry bit could be used on an impact driver. Impact drivers are designed primarily for driving screws, not for drilling into concrete. Your best option is to use the ideal tool designed for concrete.
What’s the difference between the regular Makita blue drill kit and the sub compact in black the description seem pretty much the same

These tools are still within the 18V LXT lineup and are able to use the same batteries and chargers as the Makita blue colored tools but come in a lighter more compact form factor making it convenient for work in tight spaces or needing to raise your arms for longer periods of time.
