The 18-Volt Lithium-Ion 4-Port Charger offers several advantages for cordless tool users. It has a compact size that is ideal for jobsite or shop use and will accommodate up to four 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries at 1 time for increased efficiency and less downtime. The DC18SF will charge two 18-Volt LXT batteries in 1 hour and four 18-Volt LXT batteries in 2 hours.
Will accommodate up to 4 Makita 18-Volt lithium-ion batteries
Charges two 18-Volt LXT 3.0Ah batteries in 60 minutes and four 18-Volt LXT 3.0Ah batteries in 120 minutes

If you leave your batteries over-night then sure. Otherwise a total waste of money.
This is for the guy who charges his batteries overnight. It literally takes 8 hours to charge all four batteries. I would have never bought if I had known in only charges a pair of batteries at a time. Then once they’re charged moves onto the next pair. — I leave my tools in a storage unit so dont have power overnight. A big waste of $170

It's nice to have a charger I can put all 4 batteries in and have each set charge independently.
