is this for vinyl siding

no, hardy plank, traditional types of harder siding. roofing nails are used, from my experience, for vinyl siding, the roofing nails are left loose so that the vinyl can expand and contract with the weather.

How much does this siding nailer weigh ? The comparable Hitachi weighs 4.9 lbs.

Asked by Bubba May 4, 2017

Answers

The actual weight is in the specifications. The nails add noticable heft because the nailer is so light to begin with. As with a firearm, the lighter the gun the more felt recoil. Too light and you may experience some control problems

Looks like homedepot doesn't sell nails for this gun. Any recommendations on where to buy them?
