Can it take longer chain bar sizes than 20" like 22" 24" and up?

This saw uses a K095 bar mount. Oregon makes bars up to 28" long with this mount. Although 50cc is a bit small for a 28" bar.

I'm an arborist and just purchased this saw. I'm in love with it. As a professional, I think it is the best limbing saw I have ever used. The review by "Chris" is incorrect. The manual clearly states that the idle speed is user adjustable. The tool for adjusting the idle is included with the saw. It comes in the box from the manufacturer. The idle on my saw was also way too low as shipped, and I had to adjust this up to keep the saw from stalling in idle. There are separate low and high throttle settings which the manual does say should only be adjusted by an authorized dealer. These are separate from the idle adjustment, but the manual does NOT say that adjusting those settings will void the warranty either. So Chris must have had a very bad day or just not be a native English speaker. I wish the bar nuts were retained, but I keep extras in case one is lost. I like the flip caps on my Husqvarna saws, but I can work with the traditional fuel and oil caps. The saw goes from 0-100% almost instantly. This takes some getting used to. This much power in a saw this small means that kickback is always going to be a serious risk. This is not a homeowner saw for this reason. It is a professional saw, a very good professional saw, if not the very best professional saw.

Fresh out of the box, first cut, stalls. I can start it over and over, but keeps stalling. Seems like the idle is too low. Manual says that adjusting idle speed by myself voids the warranty, I have to take it to an authorized repair place. So it's sitting useless on a shelf until I can get out of the house.

Saw has lots of power. Only been out once so far, but was very impressed. Makita didn’t get it wrong pairing up with Dolmar.

Nice quality saw. Seems to be a bit more robust than my CS-490 was. The felling dogs are nice to have stock. You can always take them off if you don't need them. Weighs in at 15lbs dry with the bar and chain mounted. No oil or gas. The chain is a non-skip full chisel. Came with two air filters but they are different. Have to read up on that. Carb takes the same "single D" that my EA7900 does so that is nice. Overall very happy. The choke is a little different than what you might be used to. All the way down on the lever is stop for ignition. Middle is ignition on. All the way up is choke. Odd but it works. At least there is no primer button to go out.
