Q:Do the end supports have a flip up like the dewalt for multiple same size cuts for trimming windows etc. I can't tell as it looks like just rollers. Not a big fan of a block of wood and a clamp.

Poor quality item
I've owned this stand for less than 6 months with minimal use and already the grips have snapped. The legs are flimsy and overall a poor quality item for Makita

The state came to me with a great blow in...
The state came to me with a great blow in one of its extensions. It is more complicated for me to have to take it to Home Depot again and wait for a new one to be sent to me than to repair it myself. I'm very upset about that.

Unfortunately the bix was damaged and there was damage to the product. It was useable and not worth the hassle of returning but not the best feeling

I really enjoy this Stand. It puts my makita saw at a good height. The legs stick out so you got to walk around them, but honestly if you own this set up your safety is paramount so you will walk around the legs. The sides extend outward. The blade is made in China fyi. I'm cutting 2x4s right now and its great. I hook up a shop vac and it keeps the mess to a minimum. Garage candy!

Compact Saw Stand
This stand from Makita is solid, stable, and about as small as they come. The board holds slide in and out smoothly for being a square tube in a square hole. I prefer the simple utility over the puzzle that some of the gravity stands are. The handle and wheels are optional, and the feet on the t-slot saw brackets can be moved, if one wished to shorten the brackets. The locking mechanism is all metal and needed an adjustment out of the box to properly engage. The wrench included with the stand fits the nuts to do that, as well as the bolts for the saw bracket.

I am an older female DIY er. I bought this stand because of the wheels on one end, I was hoping to attach my saw and then be able to roll the saw from location to location. I have now bolted on my Mikita 8.5 inch sliding miter saw, and have moved locations on the wheels, but I don’t think that was the design idea, because when rolling the saw, it can get tipsy. When the stand is used as intended, to hold my saw while cutting, it is awesome! The end supports are easy to use and adjust. The stand is very sturdy, the legs are easy to fold and there was very little assembly. I really am pleased with the stand. I would buy it again.
