    Don’t buy it
Good looking floors but the click in mechanism is awful. Boards just keep spreading apart and making cracking noise months after installation. It’s been a really frustrating experience dealing with it. At this point, I wish I never got them.

The Malibu Wide Plank Engineered Click Lock or Tongue & Groove does not typically require acclimation like a Solid Hardwood Floor would require. per the Installation Guide attached to each product listing page, Acclimation is the process of adjusting (conditioning) the moisture content of hardwood flooring to the environment in which it is expected to perform. The hardwood flooring is fully acclimated when its moisture content and dimensions (width and length) are stable. Engineered hardwood flooring typically does not need acclimation as long as the environment it is being installed in is fully acclimated. Bowing typically will or can happen when material is introduced into an environment where the ambient humidity may be higher than where it was stored. Bowing is allowed up to ¼” to ½” depending on the overall length of the material. Planks with bow can be cut and used at the starter will or placed at the end to finish out the row. Glad you love the look, enjoy your floor as its a great investment in your home. JasonMWP

      beautiful solid engineered flooring
I have this engineered hardwood floor from last august month. It was came as expected, looks like cream pink brown combination going well. I am looking for something light color not too dark for my home. Hickory design going well with light colors. Also material is solid and reliable. Hope I went with nail in instead of clicked one. To make floor more stable.

The flooring is well made and easy to install. I really like the variable lengths which make the pattern very interesting and not repetitive. It did take a little longer to install because I had to be careful about not lining up the seams. It clicks together very easily unlike some other flooring that I've put in that takes a lot of force to get it all lined up. The floor has a nice feel underfoot. Solid and not bouncy like thinner flooring. It also looks very natural. My only complaint is that there are sometimes big flaws in the pieces that are filled in with a brown resin. I was careful to use those pieces in places it wouldn't show or I cut out the bad part and used the 2 halves on the left or right side. I cut up a 2x4 to make wall spacers instead of buying spacers. I used blue 3-in-1 underlayment and that worked well.

          Boards keep spreading out
Two months ago I installed this flooring across about 800 sq ft. Not only are most planks either rough or highly discolored, they've continually shifted and opened up gaps. The click-lock is the worst I've seen, and will be looking into a warranty claim

Overall, decent flooring, but I wouldn't buy and install again. The click-lock is not tight, especially laterally, so the floor likes to work itself loose. Further, every box had at least two boards that were unsightly or rough
