    Q:I?m in love with this floor but we built on a heated slab. I need a floating floor option. Is there anything that is very similar to this flooring that might work? I?m so sad that this can?t be installed as a floating floor! It?s the only one that I love!

    A:  Keep browsing, 100s of floors to choose from, most if not all 3/4" Solid Hardwood floors do not allow or recommend installation over radiant heat, so you need to find an Engineered Hardwood or a Rigid Core vinyl floor which allows floating floor install over radiant heat system.

      A:  No, Herringbone patterns need a left and right tongue & Groove pattern, and this floor cannot be installed in this installation method.

          Quality tug and groove
          Good , quality solid hardwood floor. Tongue and groove were made very well. Installation was straightforward because of this. DIY project on 320 sqft. Didn’t waste any planks due to warping to the point that I couldn’t use them. Flooring is perfect shade of grey/ brown( depending on light angle ). Lighter in person than most photos show. The right amount of the ‘rustic’ look.

              We love it
              More rustic than the sample picture shows. But not too much. The wood has texture and a matt finish as opposed to smooth and glossy. A realy good fit for us. Install with nailer was easy.

                  OMG this flooring is great!
                  I was hesitant to buy because i couldn't see any installs before committing to 3000sft of this product. I took a chance and it paid off! The floor is beautiful solid and finished ... no sanding staining etc. The planks are shorter than when we buy raw material but the look is the same and this floor looks and feels much more resilient because of the prefinish. We will buy again for the next job....thank you Malibu Wide Plank and HD!

                    We ordered 2200 square feet of the Malibu Wide Plank product, ( Point Reyes ) The product was great, loved the color. Shipped 94 cases on two pallets. Product was delivered without damage. Easy to lay with very few bad boards. Loved the product.

                      Love the new flooring in my home office. Was easy to install and only a few bad pieces that we just used for cut offs. Would like to have a few more long pieces per box but otherwise a great product.
