Cap Defective
While cleaning it for the first use, I closed the cap to get the cleaning liquids mixed well. Immediately water spewed from the cap. Confused, I made sure the cap gasket was properly installed and it was, and again tested it. It leaked no matter what. I discovered that when you screw the cap on, there is a thread-stop on the containers threads that keeps the cap from going on any further. The reason it is designed this way is so that when the container is in a horizontal position, the top cap will open parallel to the way its positioned so you can pour liquid out properly. I tried contacting Manna, but they are currently unavailable for warrenty relations

Let's start with a little background. First, the jug/thermos is made very well. It is pretty tall at 16-17" tall. Luckily my kitchen faucet is about half an inch taller. When filled with water, it is going to be around 9-10lbs best guess, as water is around 8.5 lbs for 1 gallon. I personally do not think i would lug it back and forth to work, but I could see using it for picnics or long drives to make sure you always had a cold drink with you. I did fill it with ice about halfway and kept some water in it at work for a few days. I filled it the night before taking it to work. Day 1, was like it just came from the fridge. Day 2, it was still pretty cool, but all the ice had melted. Day 3, still drinkable. I did not go to day 4 or 5. I think in perfect conditions, filled with water it will last 120 hours cold. I just don't see me using it that way. As with everything, the time frames all have to take in to account the temperature of the liquid when filling, how much ice and the ambient temp.
Having all that out of the way. This thing is made well. The large opening is nice for cleaning. I purchased an extra long bottle brush to make sure I could wash it thoroughly. The small opening is good for drinking directly from the jug or pouring. It does not appear to leak. I had it sloshing around in the car and turned horizontally on my desk at work. No issues. The lid seems to stop in the correct place when you put it on. No weird angles when trying to pour. The handled are nice, but a shoulder strap attachment could be nice. Again... looking at 8.5 lbs+ when full. It can be very useful given the correct situation. Looking forward to filling it with hot chocolate and using it during this year's annual Christmas Parade. If you are looking for something like this for a work site where it would be hard to keep liquid cool or hot for the day and you work long hours, this may be for you.

This vacuum insulated jug is amazing!!! We filled it 1/2 way with ice cubes and then with water and left it on our back deck out in the sun for days just to see if it would really keep the water cold (the average temperatures have been approx. 85 degrees). At day three not only was the water cold parts of the ice cubes were still there! By day six the water was still cooler than room temperature!!! We are definitely going to use this for family trips so that we have cold water in the car with us!! The jug itself is very nicely made and has a great handle for carrying. My only complaint on this item is that it is a bit difficult to clean. One reason is that is so tall that you can't just fit it under the faucet in the kitchen to fill it up you have to use the detachable hose. The other reason is that the opening is too narrow so that you can't get your hand into the jug. So for me it would be perfect if it was a bit shorter and wider at the top so that you can put your hand in it to clean it. Otherwise great item and the best insulated container we have!!!

Fantastic stainless steel vacuum insulated jug! This jug is stainless steel on the inside and holds one gallon of water with ice and lasts for 5 days. Hot beverages last for 24 hours. It has a small lid for pouring or drinking and then the whole top comes off for adding ice or cleaning We use this on our boat and fill it with ice and water and it lasts all day, When we travel this is quite handy to take on trips. It has fold out handles to carry it and fold in when not not needed and save storage space. I really like the removable silicone base, because when you sit down the jug it stays in place. This is the best insulated jug ever!!

There's definitely a lot to love about this Titan 1 gallon Onyx Stainless steel Vacuum insulated Jug. It is a true "Black Beauty", in my opinion. It also comes in another beautiful choice of colors, and that is their Sapphire version which is equally beautiful. In the past I had an older original version of a Thermos, but it had none of the features this Titan has. I was amazed to discover all of the features when it first arrived. I am excited to take it with me when my son and I go dirt bike riding, and also flying in one of his private planes. This new Jug holds 1 full gallon, which is more than enough for both of us. I love the new flip back handles, compared to standard fixed handles. These open in the middle, and then wrap around the jug. The double spout is a great feature....one for pouring, and the larger opening to add ice, or ease in cleaning. Another very important feature that I appreciate is the double-wall vacuum insulated stainless steel walls. The manufacturers spared no attention to detail, and another added bonus is the removable silicone base for extra grip, and/or stabilizing the jug while venturing out. I highly recommend this jug to all interested users, and have already shown it to several co-workers who are planning to purchase their own.Â

Might as well be glass
I had the Stainless Steel insulated jug for less than a year. It got knocked off a bench onto a tile surface and that was the end.
The handle support rings broke and now it leaks. I expected more for the cost.
