It works great. I wore out the original bought 10 years ago. I used the edger every summer and was always pleased with the results. The edger is a good accessory for the Mantis.

Omg- first of all, the Mantis is a MUST HAVE for anyone with a yard! Secondly, the dethatcher attachment is amazing! We pulled 3 leaf bags of thatch from our small townhome lawn. We haven’t used the aeriator yet but I anticipate that it works as well as everything else Mantis. That little machine is worth it’s weight in gold!

The border attachment works exactly as expected and the blade is quite durable. I have a lit of tight, winding paths and the blade hits a lot of concrete from time to time, but seems non-the-worse.

I have a Mantis that I bought for my wife about 20 years ago. Because I don't use it frequently, it gets gummed up and very hard to start. Solution: buy the pre-mixed gas in a can. Expensive, but it solved the problem. Starts every time. As to the edger attachment, my first one was worn down to the nub. Replacement works like a charm. Nice straight lines.

The border attachment seems to be made pretty heavy duty, it does the job just fine. Installing is just a matter of sliding off the tines and sliding on the wheel and blade.

Have been using my little tiller for the past 15 years, best investment my father made, this edger works great for over grown areas on sidewalks, or where ever you need a boarder, great tool.
