Happy with the project but...
I am a DIYer and must say I am quite happy with the final look of my backsplash project. But it wasnt easy. First issue I have with this tile is consistency or the lack thereof. The tile was varying not only in length and width but also in thickness. The spacing of the tiles glued to the mesh was not consistent either and crooked at times. Also some tiles had blotches of the glue on a back that would stick out and prevent the tile from laying flat on a wall. To remedy it I had to take a part the mosaic and lay it using spacers. Second, the price of this mosaic tile is the same or more than the marble mosaic of higher quality. The only reason I went with this tile is because I wanted the logical continuity of the same floor tile i had already layed. If I had to do it all over again, never ever would I use this tile.

I used this tile in a bathroom remodel. It came out beautiful. I used it in the shower and the floor using a biscut grout. It was very affordable. Homedepot had the best seletion for in stock tile and did returns on all extras i had leftover.

The product is excellent from an artist's and installer's viewpoint. It has uniform sizes so spacing evenly is a breeze. The tiles are flat, meaning it is easy to have the height of one tile match the other. But most importantly, the tiles are beautiful.
Each tile appears to unique in its pattern. Just like one would find in nature. I found myself saying repeatedly, "This tile is really beautiful. I should place it in a highly visible space." After saying that more than a dozen times I realized I didn't need any thought about position the tiles for effect. They work stunningly in any pattern.
Thinset also cleans up easily from the tile's finished surface, meaning no need for grout release. My recommendation is always use thinset or mortar for tile in wet areas like showers and bathroom floors.
3 of the tiles cracked near the end of the cuts on my wet saw, narrowing the piece desired and making me repeat the cut. I found it useful to keep the waste part of the cut between the fence and the blade. This left the tile I wanted a piece that could be trimmed. Problem solved.
The homeowner wanted a tile that wouldn't show dirt. Don't know why since his place was immaculate but this tile works well in that regard. Still the surface is super easy to clean, so no worries in keeping it clean.
Great tile at a very reasonable price!

My project used the 12*12 mosaic floor and wall tile (shower floor), the 12*24 floor and wall tile (shower walls), the decorative border (shower walls), and the 12*12 wall tile (bathroom floor). Everything is stunningly beautiful. I would definitely use this product again. In fact, I did use it for a second bathroom, and will use it for the third one, as well.
