When the description says "....with bore" the door is already prebored for a lockset. If your locksets are installed at standard heights, the additional $4 per door is well worth it. If on the other hand your locksets are not at a standard height, you would need to get just a slab door and cut them yourself.

I install doors regularly. Most replacement doors, if not prehung, must be planed down to fit the existing doorway. Keeping in mind that this particular door associated with this question is only 30" and prebored for a lockset, so, 1) you need a larger door, 2) you can only realistically plane the hinge side of these doors. First assess how your current door fits and determine if it fits perfect, can be wider or needs to be narrower. Ideally the door should have a 1/16" gap on the hinge side and a 1/8" -3/16" gap on the latch side. It is rare when I find a perfect sized doorway or doorjamb straight enough to actually allow that. When you have to resize a door to fit, and you subtract the amount needed to be planed for the door to fit the doorway, you are typically left with an odd sized door. This is normal. 32 and 3/8" is not, and you may require a custom door. If on the other hand your doorway, or, "door frame" is actually 32 and 3/8", you have an ideal situation and a 32" door should fit perfectly with little if any resizing necessary.

Poor quality from the manufacturer. I install doors regularly. Most replacement doors, if not prehung, must be planed down to fit the existing door frame. Keeping in mind that this particular door is prebored for a lockset, so, you can only realistically plane the hinge side. 2 of the 6 doors I am currently installing are starting with only 3/4" of wood frame on the hinge side of the door. When you subtract the amount needed to be planed for the door to fit the doorway, and then subtract the amount for the hinge recess, you are left with a disaster waiting to happen. With a only a minimal amount of wood on the hinge side, hinge screws will strip-out and/or the glue will fail and the door frames will separate from the door skins, making the door useless, which is what happened to me. These doors are expensive enough that I believe the manufacturer can afford a little more wood. Home Depot needs to get their "world class" supplier to increase the wood content on the hinge side of their hollow core doors.

Can’t trim this door
When replacing my daughters door, this was a visually appealing option. They look really nice. I’ve never been able to replace a door without trimming a little from the bottom to clear carpet, which is the case here. I had to trim about 1” from the bottom and found out there is only 3/4” fiberboard inner trim at the bottom. I understand I purchased a “hollow core” door, but why not have a few inches trimmable at the bottom. I tried to cut out the middle insert piece and see if I could glue it back in (like another reviewer claims he had done) but after trying to splice the glued parts from each other I came to the realization that life is too short for this nonsense! I’m chucking this POS and getting a decent built door. This is cheap cosmetic crap at best... I expect better of HD!
