What does it mean that this door does not come with trim installed?
Asked by Annoyed July 25, 2019The door is prehung but, trim must be purchased separate. It’s not a split jamb like you would see in a cheaper door.

Asked by Mindy April 28, 2018Yes you still need a prehung door even if you have an existing hanging door ( unless you are taking out the jams etc but that is more work than just getting a prehung door) you will like these doors because they are solid and make the room more quiet
What does Prehung mean?
Asked by aicram October 6, 2015The easiest way to tell if you need a right-hand or left-hand door is to put your back against the intended hinge side of the door opening. Then swing either your right arm or your left arm the way you want the door to swing when opened. The if you swing your left arm, you need a left-hand door. If you swing your right arm, you need a right-hand door.
Can I make it a pocket door
Asked by Dustin528 November 7, 2015Buy the slab door model instead (not pre-hung, no frame). It’s much less expensive and you can’t use the frame for a pocket door anyway. You may want to get a hollow core one instead, it will be lighter and easier to slide on pocket door hardware. Also your wall won’t be very soundproof for a pocket door, so I don’t think a solid core door will help much.
how do I know the swing? I need 4 but 1 needs to swing in
Asked by scott October 29, 2019Stand on the side of the door opening that the door will open towards. For example, inside a bedroom that the door opens into. If you want the knob of the left side of the door, then it’s a left-hand door. If you want it on the right side (Hinges on the left side) then it’s a right hand door. This is an industry standard for all doors, not just Lowe’s. You can google this for many more examples of which ways doors swing.
