Very easy to install
Installed under the ridge tiles on moss covered barn roof. It appears to have an immediate effect on eliminating the moss growth, but will have to have more rainy days to determine the total benefits. It's alot easier than trying to balance some 5 gals buckets of bleach on the roof ridge.

Easy to install -- I used one of these rolls...
Easy to install -- I used one of these rolls on the roof peak of a problem area last year and I am 95% lichen-free this year. It takes a while, but does an excellent job of controlling lichen and moss.

Purchased because famous DIY TV show recommendations
In past years my roof had algae /moss issues. First purchased a product that user sprays (blue bottle - W_t and F_rget) on the roof and it kills the algae moss. Then the rain would knock dead moss /algae off. However, depending on the size of the algae /moss it takes a long time. On neighbors' application I did the same as above but used a semi-hard nylon brush to 'help' algae /moss off. I then applied Master Flow Zinc strip. Directions on a pdf at the website (as an alternative to nails) using HD Construction Adhesive can be used to adhere zinc strip to roof. My neighbors' asphalt shingles are not new, and I didn't want to use a hammer and nails, possible damage present shingles (bending up present shingles to nail strip). It is also recommended to use neoprene washers between nails and present shingles or whatever roofing material you have. Application was August 2022, results of how well the zinc strip does its job is too soon to tell.
