6 in. x 6 in. Galvanized 26 Gauge Louver with Screen

The louver openings were uneven in two ways. The widths of each opening were different, and some openings varied in width.

I needed to vent a Rubbermaid shed, 7'x7'. There were no vents provided in the structure and the plastic walls and roof transmit heat very well. I believe you could bake bread with the doors closed. I installed a vent near the ridge in each gable end and one at the bottom center of each of the side walls. The structural problem in doing this was to fit the vent holes to be cut in the walls between the ridges formed in the plastic so as not to weaken the walls. These vents were the right size. I should note that the 6"x6" dimensions refer to the total size of the sheet metal. The vents are about 4.5"x4.5". I don't expect these vents to make the shed cool but I hope that it will draw air in the bottom sidewall vents and let the heated air escape out the gable end vents and thereby reduce the heat buildup. I rate this product only 4 star because the metal is very thin and I feel the price is a bit high, but it was the only vent I could find that was the right size and had a mesh.

Very simple item, no moving parts. It does its job ok, I just can’t imagine why this costs more than $5. Maybe galvanize coatings have gone through the roof??

The quality of this vent is good, in addition the price was worth it!

Welded screen, quality construction

Wind driven snow easily defeated the design of this vent. Snow made it's way through the vent grill and with temperature in the low teens the water froze solid and filled up inside of housing resulting in sizeable amount of damage to my house. It was installed by a licensed roofing contractor and all instructions were followed. The water did not breach from seal. Other than rigging garbage can lid over top of unit for future heavy wind blown snow storms. What is the solution to this hazard? Long Island was it with 2 feet of snow with over 60 hour winds that day. That area of roof barley had any snow on it. Unit at no time during or after snow was over the top.

It was perfect for my application.

Very flimsy. Definitely not worth the money.

I needed a vent in these dimensions so I bought it. It works, but it is flimsy, and overpriced for what you get.
