          A:  It's a combination lock with a hasp small enough to fit through the zipper guides on soft luggage. Unless someone other than the owner has plenty of time to try a 100 possible combinations or has a large pair of metal cutters or a hack saw, I don't think it can be opened. Since no key is involved, the lock can't be picked. It would easier to use a knife to slice open the open the suitcase.

          Terrible lock. Very lock security. TSA locks are bad security. Master locks are bad security. Put them together and you have a disaster. Also you can 3d print TSA master keys. Bypass this lock. Or pick the TSA key slot in less than 10 seconds. I recommend a different brand at the very least or something with a TSA number 6 key. Because it's a dimple keyway and most people are not familiar with how to open those.

          Keeps the honest people out
          Lock does look small and weak in the photo. It is fairly strong for it's size. A determined person could cut with a reasonable pair of cutters if so inclined. Keeps an honest person out! I found the code to be easy to set and works well; 3-digit. The TSA feature allows for airport screening to occur without the need to cut the lock free. Not a reason for my purchase. The added value of the TSA feature I could have done without.
