        A:  Hmmm, I think that would be tough as the lid needs to be closed for the fan to push the heat into the grilling chamber. I guess you could but it may be difficult to keep an eye on what you are cooking

          A:  At this time, we do not manufacture a griddle that will fit the Gravity Series 560.

            A:  It can but it would have to be custom built. The 560 doesn’t have the griddle option. I have heard the new 2023 models will have the griddle option for all 3 models

                    A:  Yes, absolutely! Suggest to use chuck charcoal and suggest wet the wood chucks by soaking them in a bucket to slow down their burn and create more wood smoke. I love this grill!

                        Don't waste your money
                        After one month of minimal use, I noticed that the inside of the gravity charcoal paint are bubbling and the rubber sealant is melting! I would return it if I could.

                          Not Worth the Time
                          I purchased the MB Gravity Series 560 on May 8, 2023 at Home Depot. I paid to have the grill assembled and delivered due to not having a vehicle large enough to transport it. The unit was delivered fully assembled on May 11th and I followed the instructions from MB regarding the pre-seasoning procress. The inside temp guage and controll unit were giving inaccurate readings. I filled the hopper up with 1/2 charcoal, lit a fire starter, and waited approximately 3 minutes for the charcoal to ignite. I started the unit and set the temp to 250 and waites for the grill to heat up. After about 10-12 minutes, i noticed the controll unit was reading 89 degrees, but the temp guage on the lid was reading “bbq” (which was approximately 350-400 degrees). After about 20 minutes, the controll unit read 145 and i received a “Error 4” message. By this time, the temp guage was on “Sear”. I could smell the plastic burning due to the grill being so hot. The safety switch on the grill lid melted and several of the metal peices on the inside warped. I contacted Home Depot about the grill on May 12th to have the unit replaced and the customer service rep stated the delivery team would pick up the unit on May 13th and deliver a replacement unit. It is now May 20th and i have not heard from Home Depot about the replacement. I reached out to MB about the issue and even sent a video of what happened and they provided a replacement controll unit and temp guage for the grill, yet the problem continued. I DEFINITELY would not recommend this grill. The quailty of the products seems subpar and easily warps. I wish i would not have invested my time or money into this product.

                            Came in damaged, missing parts and rust
                            I dont even know where to start. I ordered the masterbuilt gravity charcoal smoker from home depot. Once I received it. We unboxed it and was in the process of building it and we noticed the top leftside lid was bent and caved in. The rear lid leftside was rusted and theres a gap. The hopper hook latch is bent and the hopper lid is crooked. Now lets get to the parts and accessories. Some parts amd accessories was missing. Overall the experience I dealt with was the worst ever and the quality is bad very bad.

                              Masterbuilt? Don’t think so.
                              Such a frustrating experience. Did a lot of research and was excited to use this grill. Ran into some minor things like screw holes not lining up to fit as designed. After working through the minor issues for 2 hours and it was 90% assembled, found that the heat manifold was deformed and would not fit into place. Now I’ve got a useless grill sitting on my deck and no idea how to return it without taking it all apart again and throwing it the box

                                Broken and parts unavailable
                                Multiple door switches died just out of warranty. The control board died after a year and a half. Customer Service totally unhelpful—told me to go buy new control board. They’ve been out of stock for months with no indication of whether they will ever become available. Less than two years after purchase, I’m stuck with a dead, unrepairable grill. It was great when it worked.

                                  Very easy to use. No need to empty charcoal dust it empties into bin. Coal’s last very long time. Love the WiFi notifications that you get when grilling.

                                  Love this unit! It is easy to use, keeps temperature perfectly and produces an excellent smoke flavor with briquettes, lump and whatever wood you want to add. My unit had some damage, (due to mishandling by the delivery company during transit), and the response by the customer service representative was the most complete, professional and hassle free that I've ever experienced and I received the replacement parts fast. I can't say enough good things about this unit, the manufacturer and the food that has been enjoyed by my family, friends and myself! I have a great gas BBQ that I've used for years, but this is now my "go to" for preparing the best tasting food! My gas BBQ has officially been retired since this smoker does it all... and so much more!!

                                  2 years into my 1050
                                  I am a Masterbuilt user since around 2008, loved both of my Masterbuilt Pros amazing little electric smokers. Bought a 1050, within the first 2 weeks had a return for a replacement as the electronics failed and an over night brisket cook melted all the plastic as it caught on fire. Said to myself lets try again, 2 years fast forward I had a grease fire on my 1050, even though I clean it thoroughly I neglected to notice the rail where the smoke enters from the side box accumulates grease that may be unnoticed. After an extreme fire, I already did a work around of the door sensor plastic plungers melting, the gaskets on the fire box both top and bottom showing wear from melting I cannot continue to endorse this to friends. Masterbuilt has been good to me over the years and I more than got my money's worth out of this product, I just feel the plastic in high heat is a huge oversight and sets this thing up to fail, using wood chunks to smoke just enhances this flaw imo. I await future products that eliminate these fundamental flaws and perhaps I will return as a customer,

                                    Dead in the water, part 2
                                    Purchased the 800 series severa months ago and had immediate issues with control panel not powering on. Customer service quickly mailed a replacement and I was back in the game. Fast forward 3 months and my birthday steak had to go back on the trusty Char-Broil tonight, she’s dead again. Buyer beware, this is a great concept WHEN IT WORKS. Don’t give up your daily cooker or you’ll eventually be left eating out.
