Smiles On Faces!
I bought this smoker as an upgrade & I'm so glad I did. The convenience of 2 separate doors for food & chip tray are huge, especially if you're doing meats with a long smoking time. I've smoked ribs, 8lb chicken breast, pork belly, hot dogs, homemade sausage, etc. & all have come out awesome! I have put a lot of smiles on peoples faces with the products that have come out of my smoker!

This thing rippps!
I was a little worried looking at reviews by people who dont know how to assemble simple things, but glad I decided on this for myself. Smoked brisket, pork ribs, pork shoulder, and a chicken so far and blown myself away every time!

Keep shopping
Hands down the biggest disappointment in 25 years of purchasing upright smokers. Aside from being a beast to assemble, the gas line is kinked so the slightest wind extinguishes the flame. Poor design typically results in poor performance. Keep looking!

Has some flaws
It’s not hard, but plan on an afternoon building this thing. I like the concept of the thermometer controlling the temperature, but the lack of an actual thermometer you can read coupled with the fact the burner keeps going out makes smoking quite difficult. I was at least an hour in the first when the burner went out, but I don’t know exactly when. You can’t see the burner and cant monitor the temperature as there is no temperature gauge, just the control knob. I upgraded from an earlier propane Masterbuilt that I loved. Super disappointed with this purchase. Pretty sure I can’t send it back, but I’d love a swap. This is not a good smoker.

Same Stay Lit Issue As Others
Appears to be a common theme. Worked great for the first couple uses and now I can't get it to stay lit. It's not the tank. Know how to work all of those tricks. It's an issue with the thermostat dial and having to push it in to start. The second you release the flame goes out. Tired of trying to fight with it. I want my smoker back. May have to finally give up and get a pellet grill unless someone can offer up a quick fix.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Check all of the burner, valve, and open orifices for impediments as insects are attracted to and build nests where propane flows. When lighting the unit, press the knob a bit harder and hold for approximately a minute prior to SLOWLY releasing. Please contact our Support team if we can be of any assistance.
