Paint chipping right out of the box
The paint on the side of the grill is bubbling and chipped right out of the box. Masterbuilt will not honor the warranty. Disappointed.

Perfect size for my wife and I
When this grill came out I thought this could be the perfect grill for my wife and I to use on a daily basis. I have 7 other grills but they are much bigger and take a lot more fuel to heat up just to cook a couple of burgers, chicken breast or pork chops. This uses so little fuel to heat up and cook just enough food for my wife and I. Highly recommend to anyone cooking for a 2 -3 people or if you travel to tailgate or camp. It is sturdy but light enough to pick up and load in your vehicle.

Easy Grill to use
Just put together the new Portable Charcoal Grill by Masterbuilt and am very impressed. Putting it together took no longer than twenty minutes, so you can start getting it pre-seasoned and up and running quickly. The grill heats very quickly and maxes out around 550 degrees. You can use either briquettes or lump charcoal, but I have only used the lump. I did notice that the lump charcoal does burn quick in this grill, so you may need to refill throughout your grilling. The grill is a tad bulky, so if you plan on traveling with this grill in your vehicle, make sure you have room for this, your cooler of food and anything you may need. I did purchase the cover for it since I like to keep my Masterbuilt products protected from Wisconsin weather. Overall, it's a quality charcoal grill that I would recommend to others.

Portable Grill is a WIN!!!
This baby was super easy to set up and get running. I love the heavy duty build and design is simple and effective. We’re going to be testing it out on the boat next weekend and I will report a review again to share our story!

My new favorite grill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favorite grill. And although it's portable I still use it as my main grill. I love the design. You place the charcoal pieces in the container on the side and it heats up the entire grill. Now there is a learning curve and I will admit the first couple of times I tried it I struggled but now it's easy. A great grill with plenty of cooking service and it heats up fast. Very well constructed and built for abuse. I love it and it has replaced my other grills.

Portable Grill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Masterbuilt Portable Charcoal Grill is very good. I always used gas grills and I just had to try a Charcoal Grill. Let me say I got some hot dogs and hamburgers and the flavor is totally different. The taste is a lot better for sure. Ok about the Grill it is built well and works great. Also love that you can take the Grill any where you can take one. This is a great Grill you can't go wrong getting this one.

Quality grill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly was a breeze. Instructions are clear and it took me 20 minutes to put this grill together. Once together it seemed very sturdy. I have used the grill twice now since getting it and both times the food cooked perfectly. Very even heat. The temp controller is easy to use and works well. Clean up after was easy. Overall, outstanding quality grill!

Nice features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this grill. I like that this is very portable and I can take this anywhere. I really like all the features this has as well! Usually charcoal is messy and hard to get even heat all while cooking. This grill changes the game with the charcoal case, battery operated fan that helps circulate the heat. I am glad I don't have to worry about lighter fluid for this as well. The only downside to this grill is the cleanup process. This does have about 4 parts to take out and clean if you try and clean it after each use. Overall I will continue to use this and have already tossed my old charcoal grill.

Awesome Grill
This grill is sweet, only took 20 minutes to put together. Once you get it fired up the heat across the grate is even and everything you cook will come out with great flavor throw in a couple of chunks of wood and you’ll get the best tasting meat.
Cleaning is a snap..If you likeTailgating this thing will do the job and will impress your friends..
