Poorly made
I bought this smoker 2 months ago. Only used 3 times with the heating at 225. After the last time using the paint on the inside all burned off and on the doors. Had to pry the doors open as they were completly stuck fr the paint. Would not recommend this smoker

Dear Murph, Thank you for providing this feedback. We have reviewed the submitted pictures and we would recommend cleaning the inside of the smoker after each use. You may clean the smoker with mild soap and water or Apple Cider Vinegar. Please make sure that you clean the air vent as it is covered with smoke buildup as well. When cleaning has been completed, please preseason the smoker per our manual and condition the metal with cooking oil. If you have any questions on the care of the smoker, please let us know.
    Awesome smoker at a budget!
    It was a Father’s Day gift back in 2018, first year was used and abused almost all weekends and even during the week. Drip Pan did nor survived and corroded quickly, charcoal pan survided another year but not much different than drip pan. Grills are sturdy enough and durable. If housing gets corrosion, you can always sand it and paint it using food grade BBQ high temp paints. I use charcoal in a charcoal basket on top of the remainings of the original tray and ignite the charcoal using propane. After is set, turn off propane and continue on charcoal and wood pieces. Favorites are the ribs (any) with charcoal and hickory. With rear vent almost closed (1/16th”) and only 1 lower vent open 3/4, temp remain very stable around 214F. 3-2 method on dry rubbed ribs and everyone will be anxious waiting!

      This is our first smoker. We are very happy with it. We have been smoking ducks, salmon, beef jerky. They are delicious. It's very easy to use and temperature control is pretty reliable. I highly recommend this product.

      DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
      I bought this item on March 18th 2021 because I was in the market for a smoker and it was a good price I took it home took it out of the box set it up and used it 3 times in 3 weeks...the racks started rusting, the drip pan started to rust and the burner was rusting...on top of that the paint started to bubble in spots and peel off. I usually listen to reviews but my gut says to buy it anyway...my gut was wrong...the masterbuilt company warrantee don't cover rust or paint so the warrantee is useless as the paper it's printed on so emailed the masterbuilt company with pictures and they were so nice to offer me 4 new racks as a 1 time courtesy so I told them kindly no so I called the home depot closest to me and would not take it back even though it hasn't been 1 month so contacted another one a bit further and they did take it back...PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

      Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am sorry to hear it has not been a positive one. The interior of the unit should be cleaned and conditioned after every use and the removable racks and bowls should be washed with grease cutting soap and water after each use. For easier clean up, the bowls can be wrapped in aluminum foil but, the racks should not be as this will cause uneven airflow. Once the interior is cleaned with grease cutting soap and water, the metal should be conditioned with a light coating of cooking oil. This will also make clean up easier, if you coat the interior before use. Masterbuilt

        Goes out in the slightest breeze
        Bought this to replace an old electric smoker I had. Propane is easy to regulate and thought wow this will be great for the value. Now even in the slightest breeze I have to keep running re-lighting the burner because it likes to go out. Not worth the hassle when I have to keep coming out every five or 10 minutes to check on it. Don’t waste your money. This what I have to do in order to keep it lit on a breezy day.

            Six Years On and Still Smokin'
            No boring old neckties for me, my family bought this smoker for me several years ago and I have smoked well over a thousand pounds of food in it since. I have smoked pork shoulders (three at once a few times), brisket, tri-tip, salmon, trout, bacon, sausage, beef & venison jerky, whole chickens (four at once a few times, but you've got to spatchcock them), chicken wings, whole turkeys, turkey breast, pork roast, tenderloin, and prime rib (and man, that was amazing!). It has been a rock solid tool in our household and my wife has already said I could get something bigger and (her words here, not mine) better. But I told her that there's just no need. My old faithful Masterbuilt does the job every time. When your wife says, "you know? You need to smoke something this weekend.", you know it's a hit.

              Very versatile smoker
              I use my Pro smoker for almost any outdoor cooking, smoking ribs and salmon,cooking steaks on the bottom rack while baking potatoes and roasting ears on the upper racks! I purchased 3 additional racks and I am doing deer jerky tomorrow

                The door leaks smoke really bad. The burner doesn’t adjust low enough. Keeping smoker on the lowest setting though out the whole time of smoking brisket. I have to sit by it the whole 8 hours adjusting heat by opening doors.
