Hello Jodi, It is recommended to follow the instructions provided on the mirror mastic product packaging for proper use. In your case, there is insufficient information to safely provide you guidance. For further assistance please call 855-503-8380. Thank you, Kara
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Mirror Mastic adheres to most common substrates: drywall, cement and wood. We recommend you allow ample drying time in a well ventilated area. By using our beading technique in conjunction with the Mirror Mastic will also aid in a secure bond with the provided backings listed above. Please call 855-503-8380 if you have any additional questions. Thank you, Kara
Yes. It would definitely work for that.

Hello and thank you for reaching out to us. You can certainly use this mirror mastic to make your mirrored box. If you should have any additional questions, please call 855-503-8380 for immediate assistance. Thank you, Kara
Pretty cool DIY project. The premise of using mastic adhesive on the back of a mirror is to avoid the glue hardening so much or using a harsh chemical in the glue that would destroy the foil paper back and distort your reflection. Since the antique DIY process has you applying a thin coat of paint to the back of the mirror then I think the question is whether the mastic works to adhere to paint? Many people in the reviews, including myself, have had good results adhering this mastic adhesive to a painted surface. Hope that helps.
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Our Mirror Mastic formula works with the back coating of mirrors to secure a flawless installation. At no point in time should you see this substance bleeding through your mirror. If this has been your experience, please reach out to 855-503-8380 for immediate assistance. Thank you, Kara
I think it would work since it doesn’t require a porous surface but I would call the manufacturer of this glue to make sure that it will work properly. U.S. Adhesives Company 1735 W. Carroll Avenue Chicago, IL 60612 (312) 829-7438 or (312) 829-9733
No, it is not recommended to be used on polished porcelain tile.
It is not silicone. It's white. I'm not sure about lacquered.
