Have a tight location for a bathroom mirror. Can this just be used on the bottom with securing w...

Answer

I would not glue the angle. I would be afraid over time the weight of the mirror, plus heat and moister the glue would fail and crash down. If you do have room for clips on top, then you should be able to screw the bracket in properly and tilt it into place.

How do I hang this bottom J molding? Do attach it to the wall a day prior to adhering the mirror ...

Answer

The channel is mounted with screws you provide, I used some 3/4" drywall screws. I cut the channel to size and then used a stud finder and level and marked the studs and level line. I drilled new holes in the angle as the predrilled holes did not line up. I used one channel on the bottom and one on top then slide the mirror into the channels. The mirror does not sit against the wall. There is a gap so no glue is needed and took maybe 30 minutes or so to hang 2 separate mirrors. I did use 2 of the supplied plastic clips from the mirror to secure the mirror from sliding out, although most likely not needed.

Can you add a J-Mold after you use the plastic clips?

Only if you remove the plastic clips.

I was not able to use this as the holes are too small and not spaced appropriately to match up with the studs in the wall. I ended up making a ledge to prop the mirror on instead.

I bought 2 to hang 2 different size mirrors. I was able to cut each to fit the mirror I was hanging. The largest being 36" long by 30" high. The only thing that might make this better is either punching holes on 3" centers or not having any holes. Everyone has different locations they need to mount the channel.
