What 4 in 1 trim would go with this floor?
Good morning, At this time, we only carry the reducer molding and T-molding in our trim options. The reducer molding is typically used to transition between two floors of different heights, such as vinyl flooring to a lower surface. The T-molding is typically used between two floors of similar height, such as between rooms or doorways where a transition is needed. If you are looking for a different type of trim, VersaTrim offers additional options and carries trims that coordinate with our colors as well. Their products are also sold through Home Depot. We have a floor drain in the middle of the floor we're looking to use this flooring in. There is a slight slope surrounding the floor drain for about a radius of 12". If we end the flooring at the decsend, how do we finish the edge of the flooring tiles?
What tools are required for installation?
Hi AJNY, Thank you for reaching out! Our manual shows the only tools required are: Spacers, rubber mallet, ruler, pencil, tape measure, utility knife. Additionally, we recommend Roll Cote to be used as a primer and water vapor. Unfortunately, I cannot attach files. Do I need to put some sort of underlayment down before I install this on Concrete?
Hi Lance, Thank you for reaching out! Great news - the MaxCore Terra actually comes with built-in extra padding that serves as sufficient underlayment, so you won't need anything additional there. We do recommend adding a 6mil vapor barrier for moisture protection, which will help ensure your beautiful flooring performs its best for years to come! If floor wax can't be used, is there ANY thing that can be used to increase shine of this floor tile?
unfortunately, we do not recommend any additional additives to be added on the flooring materials for additional shine
What is the flatness requirement for the subfloor where this is to be installed? I see above that it states that it's great for "imperfect subfloors", but I can't find any particulars. Thank you.
the most the subfloor could be out of flat would be 1/8" per 10-foot tolerance in multiple rooms and directions. with a floating floor though you must ensure the subfloor to be fully flat and leveled for the best results
Does HD sell the trim for maxcore terra travertine lvt flooring?
No, we do not offer matching moldings in the Travertine color. We only offer them in colors 605 and 606 for the MaxCore Terra collection at this time.
