Install this electric fan in a joist-in or joist-out configuration and control it from anywhere in your household from your smart device. Whole House Fans offer an efficient way to reduce cooling costs by pulling fresh air in from the outside, expelling the warm air up into the attic, and pushing it out through the attic exhaust vents for a cool and comfortable living environment. Save on energy costs by taking advantage of the timer setting available only on Wi-Fi hub smart fans, which will automatically turn the fan off after your desired time setting has been reached.

The shutter was damaged and the factory used touch up...
The shutter was damaged and the factory used touch up paint to repair it. They did a poor job. The framework was built poorly so the fan will not sit squarely on the joists. Disappointed in the lack of quality.

WiFi controls did not work and company would not reimburse for problems and reinstalling a hub that was not working. Ventimatic never had the software for the equipment and finally to it off the market

Have a hard time syncing to a single smart device....
Have a hard time syncing to a single smart device. Can not sync to a second smart device, can not get it synced to our router. The phone that we use to run the fan picks up the fan over the wi-fi here at the house. So to use our wi-fi we have to go to settings, click off of the fan and back onto our pesonal wi-fi. We have tried to get ahold of the manufacturer and Home Depot. No one seems to respond. Very frustrating.We lost power this last weekend and could not reactivate the fan for two days. Then it just suddenly popped up on the phone. Again, very frustrating. I paid almost $200 more for the bluetooth activation and wish I would have just gotten the cheaper unit with just a wall switch. That's another problem, why can't I wire a switch along with the bluetooth for this reason? And the fact that if the person with the phone isn't home, no one else can run the fan.BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Sorry I let your store talk me into this unit.

Kind of hard to give a complete review since it’s winter and I have not really used it yet. However, one thing to note. This fan is controlled via a WiFi device such as smartphones and tablets. There is no hard wired controls. You can bypass the WiFi controls. It’s either/or.
