The Maxx Air modern 14 in. home ventilation fan is ideal for use in mild climates during the morning or evening, efficiently pulling in fresh air through open windows and removing hot, stale air from your home through the attic exhaust vents for a cool and comfortable living environment. Unlike a standard whole house fan, our ducted fans feature a damper box that is sealed with R5 insulation to prevent heat transfer back into your home, and a 12 ft. duct for maximum ventilation potential and noise reduction. The fan head mounts to an attic rafter with the included hanging bracket and plugs into a standard electric outlet for an easier, faster install than a traditional whole house fan. It's a cost-effective solution to improving your indoor air quality while relieving strain on your air conditioning equipment. Save on energy costs by taking advantage of the timer setting available only on Wi-Fi hub smart fans, which will automatically turn your fan off after your desired time setting has been reached via our free Wi-Fan app.

Th unit did not come with an installation manual, or...

Th unit did not come with an installation manual, or other documentation. You would think that when you spent $900 on a unit, it would include documentation to install, etc. I called twice to the Home Deppot in Oceanside, and I never received a call back. Will not make another major purchase again
