Wowser! Talk about Power
Holy smokes! This fan has some serious power. It is rightly named MaxxAir.
This fan is designed for a poultry house, although it is good for a garage or shop. It is ceiling mountable and has a 3 speed pull switch. It runs off of a 120v outlet. Simply plug it in and pull the switch chain.
I used a 1/4in by 4inch lag bolt to mount to the ceiling joist. The fan will swivel right to left as well as you can tilt it upward or downward.
I ran a special outlet in my shop which is about 14x20 and it can be felt from one side to the other. One thing to note: the blade is metal and you can easily put your fingers through the grate. You need to make sure that children are not able to get their hands close to this fan.
I am pleased with this fan and expect that it will make my summer's easier when working in my shop.

Great addition to the patio
I picked this fan up to add to my patio to use almost year round here in Phoenix, AZ. This thing is a heavy duty beast. Upon inspection it is obviously a quality unit. It packs a punch when plugged in a fired up. Nice to have some air movement in our large backyard patio which at times feels like there is no air movement! If you need to move some air this is your unit!

It’s so cool now to work in the garage
It’s so cool now to work in the garage now that there’s air circulation. This is a great fan it’s very powerful with three speeds and I can install it on the wall, or as you can see in the pictures I hang it, and I move it around to different parts of the garage that I’m working in at the time. Maybe I’ll hang out on the wall maybe I won’t, but this way it’s much more convenient to use. I just needed one leg bolt in the cement wall, and one butterfly Molly in the ceiling, and that’s all I will need to hang it on the wall once I’m ready. This was a great addition to my garage and work area

Quality Fan
I am very pleased with this Maxx Air 3 speed 18 inch indoor black wall mount fan with wide guard. It can be ceiling or wall mounted and I installed it on the ceiling of my two car garage. The garage can get quite warm in the summer time because there is no cross breeze. This fan will help to keep the garage more comfortable. The fan has three speeds with a pull chain and moves plenty of air even on the medium speed. The fan can be tilted 180 degrees. I used three 3/8 inch lag bolts and washers to screw into a ceiling stud for support. The directions say the fan should be mounted seven feet high for safety. I am happy with how this fan works and the quality workmanship. I would expect to get many years of use from it. The fan has a one year warranty.

Wow, super velocity fan
I was quite surprised when I plugged this fan in. On low it gives a nice amount of air, on medium it had more velocity, then on High.. wow it puts out some wind! It can be installed on the ceiling or wall. For safety reasons it says to mount 7 foot off the ground. It has a very sturdy steel bracket for mounting. Weighs about 22 lbs. The fan blade inside the sturdy cage is 18" but with the cage guard it measures 22" in diameter. It is called a Poultry fan, but I was going to mount it in my laundry room initially because it gets warm in there in the summer, but after seeing the actual size and wind it kicks out, we decided it would be great mounted on our covered patio. The Arizona heat can be uncomfortable for stting out there at times, but this really let's us enjoy the patio much more on those days/nights. Some of these fans have a box mounted on them with a knob for speed control, but ours has a 3 ft long pull chain(like on some ceiling fans) that I like much better. You can't adjust those knob ones when you have it mounted over 7 foot in the air. The electrical cord is 10 ft., which is a nice feature for mounting also. We really like this fan and would recommend it for many larger areas.

Well made, moves a lot of air
This fan was purchased to be placed in my shop, the shop is about 500 square feet and with warm weather coming soon I decided to get the fan to move air and keep the shop feeling cooler. The fan motor has 3 speeds and a pull chain that turns the fan on and also changes the speeds when you pull it multiple times. It runs smoothly and does not shake or wobble. When it's operating at top speed it moves a ton of air, I don't know if I'll ever use the high speed option but it's nice to have it. The mounting bracket is sturdy and it allows you to change the angle of the fan. The bracket is drilled for 3/8" lags and that should be plenty to keep it mounted solidly.

Lots of air movement ~ Quiet ~ 3-Speeds ~ NICE ~
I got this fan for our sunroom and wanted something other than a ceiling fan because of space restrictions so I decided to try this in a corner for added ventilation. It measures about 21 inches across and is about 7 inches thick. It has a built-in bracket so it can be mounted on a ceiling a wall or a floor and it has 3 Speeds which is controllable by a pull chain. The fan moves a LOT OF AIR! And it is Very Quiet especially for it's size. It much quieter than a simple box fan. The only drawback is the shield cage wires are spread out fairly wide so you will want to mount it where curious children will stick their fingers in it. Otherwise I simply couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend this fan.

Very nice product
This Maxx Air 3-Speed 18 in. Indoor Black Wall Mount Fan with Wide Guard is a really nice fan! I am very happy not only with the quality of the build but also how much air it moves! The lightweight aluminum fan blades are deceiving because they don’t look like they would do much but this fan REALLY pushes air out. The 3 speeds are nice so as to customize air flow. Having a pull chain to adjust the speed is great and convenient when you have gunk on your hands. I use mine for my workshop and it is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. This fan comes with an already installed arm halo for easy installation and the fan mounts easily with a single bolt. It’s very easy to angle the fan to any angle you need including straight vertical down. I also use it with the halo arm working as a stand when I place it on the concrete floor of my shop. This is a quality fan and it is good to know that it is very quiet as well. Says it’s for a chicken coop situation but it works 100% in my workshop. Highly recommend!

Moves a Lot of Air
I put this fan in my workshop/shed, and it certainly makes a difference. The Maxx Air has three speeds and moves a lot of air. A pull chain turns the fan on low, and higher speeds are obtained with additional pulls of the chain. The only feature I wish it had is an oscillating feature. Otherwise, the Maxx Air fan is very well made and has mounting options to tilt or position the fan appropriate for your use. It does not come with mounting bolts or lag screws. I used 3/8" bolts inserted through a rafter. Holding the fan in place, I used a pencil to mark the holes. Drilled the holes, inserted the bolts, fan, then the nuts. All done!

It moves air!
Great wall mounted fan for any area you need to move air in. No wiring needed, comes pre wired with about 7 feet of 3 wire cord for 120 volts. Simple to install once you decide where to put it. Not very loud for a large fan in part due to the open construction. Oh ya it does move air. Will be great for working in the garage this summer.,, Comes with a nice pull cord for your speed selections and off. Make sure it's mounted where kids can't stick their fingers into it.
