      Robert, The covers for the barrel fans are normaly quite oversized for the fan so they fit on easily. If this is not the case in your situation, please request a return for credit as I would like to see the cover and see if it may have been mispackaged as the BF24 cover is the smallest one we offer.       This cover is to prevent dust particles from entering the motor of the fan. Please note that the fan is still indoor use only and should not be exposed to outside elements, even with the cover.
