Are there any limitations to the room/area operating temperatures for this freezer? For example, can it be operated in an enclosed but non-temp-controlled garage?

I think it should be OK. Although the performance may suffer if the ambient temperature is outside the specified range. Especially when it gets too hot outside

It gets down to -10 F. It can be set to lower too but that's a stretch.
