I ordered this wine fridge and returned it two days later. First - there was weld burn on the door with exposed solder that left a blemish on the stainless steel. Second - this thing was so loud that I had to get up a 4:00am an up-plug it. Unless you are going to put this thing in your garage, save yourself the time/hassle and spend a few hundred more.

This unit seems to be running great. The FIRST unit worked just fine for 2 weeks then went completely dead. Nothing. No fans or lights or signs of life. Checked the breaker and the plug. This was just a case of delayed DOA. Home Depot happily ordered a new unit and since I had picked this up at the store offered to bring it out and take the bad unit away. What service. It has been running well for 2 weeks and, in fact, we notice the compressor runs a tiny bit longer but less often. The interior light adds a pretty blue illumination and it goes off automatically after a while. There were no problems ordering the replacement unit or getting the credit once they had the old unit back at the store. The manager of the appliance department delivered the new wine cooler himself in a Home Depot truck and took all the old boxing back to the store to dispose of them. The wine cooler stores 28 bottles in the space that had been occupied by a trash compactor. This is a feature they need to promote.

    Terrible product
This wine refrigerator, is, without a doubt, the worst appliance purchase I’ve ever made. The fan or motor, I don’t know which part it is, comes on multiple times during the day and night. Wakes us up everytime. It will run loudly for about 15 minutes, then shut off. DONT BUY THIS BRAND!

The first order arrived with a defective top hinge. The second one arrived in good shape but is very noisy when running. I keep thinking someone turned on the vacuum cleaner in another room when it runs. Also label states 24/7 support but only available business days. Very expensive.

Installed in New construction by our contractor
The unit was picked by our contractor and t says it is suitable for outdoor use. I can see why becasue when it runs it is louder than any appliance we have. It is annoying to hear this thing in a pretty large kitchen, I would never purchase it again. So it is built in and I am living with it.
