Is this Annual ryegrass?

Asked by: Maverick
Yes. It will grow through the winter months, when the bermuda grass is dormant so the lawn stays gree the entire year. You must reseed each fall.

It’s supposed to be dated for use by date and I noticed that box where they were supposed to mark the date down was empty. I was sold stale old useless seed. Take your chances. Returning empty boxes tomorrow, supposed to be guaranteed to grow. We’ll see if Home Depot jacks me around on the refund ?. It is their style not to care abut individual customer.

Seems to be a good quality rye grass seed mix for over seeding in the Houston area. Most of my seed was washed away this past weekend due to significant rains but hoping for the best as it had not had time to sprout to resist washing away. May have to order second bag and start over unfortunately. Product was packed in nice sturdy box and arrived in great condition and on time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from coming up nice Needed a grass that will grow in infertile sandy soil. Research suggested centipede as the best choice. Even though I live in a warmer climate, 7b, the only seed I can find in stores is cool season grasses (how stupid). So I had to order online. Research said it would take three to four weeks to germinate. This seed germinated in 9 days! I am slowly seeing it start to spread. Very excited to see something other than weeds. I felt it was a bit expensive, but if it continues to fill in then it will be worth the cost.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disapointed I planted this seed and realized I didn't have enough. I planted way more than recommended, because I wanted results. Since I needed more and didn't want to wait for delivery, I found a place where I could purchase Centipede seed on the spot. I planted this seed, (TiffBlair), and now I see the results. The TiffBlair is growing great, but the areas where I planted the Mayberry seed are not growing AT ALL. I must conclude that the Mayberry seed was no good.
