I would contact Mayne directly to get an accurate answer. They have a website gomayne.com or you can call at 1-866-363-8834. I would definitely order from HD though so your return will be easy if needed and you will also get the best price.
All the measurements are in the description, if you still need help call the company, they were very helpful with my questions.
Window box. You don't have to take out the soil, but I do take out the spent flowers to clean the box out. Yes drain the reservoir. I know the maker of the window box said you don't have to cover it, that its fine as it is in winter, but I like to cover mine with a small tarp wrapped around it and tide with rope to keep it secure or I have even used large black contractor plastic bags that I slip over each end and secure them with rope or duct tape. I do this because I think it will make them last longer and help the from fading. I hope this is helpfull.
Hi, maybe you can, with a special paint bounding to plastic. It might not last as long as wood paint, especially if outdoor, though. The plastic is pretty slippery.
Yes, this comes with 4 brackets and hardware. We had ours installed on a brick wall.
Yes, our window boxes have pre-formed overflow drainage holes to allow excess water to drain out. Full installation instructions can be found under the "Product Overview > Info and Guides" section of this product listing by clicking on "Instructions / Assembly".
I saw no need to line. Theyhave a bottom drain hole. Haven't had them long enough to see if they create rot.
Yes I’ve had mine outside in NC for 3 winters now with no problems.
I'm not positive but they do seem strong enough. I would raise them a 1/2 inch or so off the ground to get some under the pot air circulation.
I’m not sure if you can put wheels on them? I’m not sure they are made to do that because I think you would drill into the watering system. But if you want to know for sure you can call the company and they are more than willing to answer any of your questions. I called them with questions I had and they were so helpful and answered all my questions I had. I hope this helps you!
